This publication is a long-term project in text layout that I worked on while I was on exchange in Hamburg. The task was to typeset a publication (min. 300 pages long) consisting of many elements (headings, subheadings, captions, footnotes, etc.). The project was about learning the craft, being able to handle paragraph- and textstyles and use them consistently and in an organised manner. The publication's design language is similar to other German publications of the same length. I analysed them in terms of font, sizing, spacing, etc. to really understand the structure of the classic novel.
