A Reference Book

This group project started by building our own painting tools and brushes. After that we took a lot of time, getting to know them. We wanted to know, what each of them was capable of. A lot of papers filled with different kind of strokes developed.
After weeks of experimenting and adjusting, we decided to document the different kind of stroked, our tools were capable of making. These small books are reference books for the future. You can discover the strokes and they are numbered, so that it is possible to look up, with what kind of tool they were created.
The booklets are hand sewn and the text is written on an old typewriter to support the feeling of an old reference books.
